There are plenty of local footpaths in the area, especially over the Shimmings Valley and Petworth Park. Pulborough mainline station to Victoria and London Bridge (70 minutes), is about 4 miles and Haslemere station serving Waterloo (60 minutes) is about 10 miles away.
