Vicars Cross is a lovely area so much so the majority of our family still live in this area. At the top of the road is a newsagents, hairdressers and beauticians. There is also a bus stop at the top of the road so the city centre is accessible via transport or a 15-20 minute walk through the estate. There is also a larger set of shops and the local pub ‘The Centurion’ off the main road into Vicars Cross. The local school Oldfield Primary is a sought after school and is also where all our family have attended. There are three parks all within walking distance as well as the community centre, Scout Hut and a field where the community fun day is held once a year as well as other activities.
