“We have loved renovating and turning our beautiful bungalow into the home we have today.. However, a new chapter in our lives must start and we have decided to take early retirement. We started with a blank canvas and were able to put our own personal touch into every room right down to the beautiful Wilton carpet in the sitting room and luxurious deep pile carpets in bedrooms and spacious hall. We currently use bedroom number 2 as an office however it can easily be used as a 2nd bedroom and has inbuilt wardrobe. One of the things that we particularly like is the spacious hallway which floods the room with light throughout the day.”
The Area:
The traditional village of Etwall is fantastic family village and has something for everyone. There is Etwall Primary School and John Port Academy within the village making it an ideal location for families. Also, within the village there is a park and football pitches, a cricket club, Post Office, News Agents and several pubs as well as a restaurant. The buses which run through the village provide a service which goes to other local villages as well as into Derby City Centre and Burton Town Centre. It has easy access to major road links with the A38 and A50 both just a couple of minutes’ drive from the village and the A516 to Derby.
