The Property
The Farmhouse is a superb traditional Cumbrian farmhouse situated in magnificent countryside set in 17 acres of land. Currently operated as a successful business, the property provides a wealth of opportunities to relax in style or explore the idyllic surrounds. Nestled in the glorious Cumbrian countryside of the south-western Lakes, this beautifully renovated farmhouse features elegant and tasteful colour schemes throughout, with memorable touches such as exposed beams, slate and wood flooring, and striking fireplaces.
The inviting open plan sitting room/kitchen is at the heart of the property, offering a spacious yet cosy and relaxing hub. The hand-built kitchen benefits from a range of appliances, including a range cooker, combi microwave/oven/grill, fridge/freezer and dishwasher along with a Belfast sink and a central island with ample space for casual dining. The utility room provides further convenience and space for a washing machine and tumble dryer, whilst the dining room is perfect for more formal entertaining. A lovely snug with woodburner is the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful evening.
There are four bedrooms all appointed in classic and graceful fashion. Two bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, whilst the other two are served by a family bathroom.
An outdoor spa hot tub, complete with massage jets and feature lighting, is positioned to make the most of the remarkable views towards the sea, along with a luxurious barrel sauna.
Externally
The Farmhouse is set in 17 acres of farmland, offering spectacular views down to the Irish Sea and the Duddon Estuary. The land is predominantly used for grazing, with a local farmer currently grazing sheep on it.
The property also benefits from dedicated parking.
