"When we were starting a family and wanted a home for us and children we wrote up the “would love to have” features that we wanted. A detached home, with a garage, a south facing garden, in a cul-de-sac and access to walks locally. Luckily we found this home and it has been wonderful for us and provided many great memories.
Having views of the Bathgate Hills from the front of the house is lovely but mostly we love spending time, with the kids in the south facing, sunny garden. It feels very private and doesn’t feel overlooked. With the sun coming into the garden the whole day we spend hours out there, with a few seating options and tending to our well established shrubs and plants and playing with the kids. In the evening it feels tranquil and relaxed with little noise and is perfect to sit with a glass of wine while the sun comes down.
Our favourite room is the kitchen/diner we spend a lot of time in, whether cooking or doing arts and crafts at the table, the room is bright due to being south facing and with the patio doors feels a very warm room at all times.
We have been lucky to live in this area, there are lots of nice walks close by, we have good neighbours and it is very quiet due to being in the middle of the cul-de-sac. Mostly we will miss the garden and the memories we have built with our children but we have a new home and adventure to look forward to.

Commuters will appreciate the excellent transport links provided with trains to both Edinburgh & Glasgow and it is also conveniently located close to the M8 and M9 motorways. In addition, for the big weekly shop, there is a wide choice of supermarkets both locally and within the surrounding area. More extensive shopping abounds with The Centre in Livingston and The Gyle shopping centre. Bathgate offers a host of activities, with a sports centre, swimming pool and fitness suites.
