St Johns Road is a fabulously friendly 'mewsey' community in the heart of central Hove. Hove Lawns and the shimmering sea are at the bottom of the road. At the top lies the picturesque Palmeira Square and the many delights of Church Road. St Johns is tucked between Adelaide Crescent and First Avenue, it originated as coach houses and stables for the the affluent residents four legged transportation. Later the evolution of the internal combustion engine moved the street from four legs to four wheels.
