Description
Firs House is an attractive, versatile and well-proportioned family home, well located on a popular residential road just a mile from the centre of Tatsfield and coming to the market for the first time in over 20 years.
The property, which was built in the 1980s, is extremely well presented and proportioned, with over 3,600 sq ft of living accommodation and providing excellent entertaining areas for formal and informal occasions and family living. The property was fully renovated and extended in 2007 by the current owners to a very high standard with modern kitchen and bathroom suites. The property benefits from delightful well maintained westerly facing gardens of about 0.46 acres, extensive off road parking and a detached garage.
The spacious reception hall, together with the principal reception rooms provide excellent spaces for entertaining. A dual aspect dining room with fireplace and a sitting room with an open fireplace and sets of double doors leading to the conservatory with underfloor heating and enjoying garden views and access to the terrace.
The kitchen/breakfast room is a superb space, fitted with a contemporary range of wall and base cupboards, matching island unit and integral appliances, including a gas range style cooker. Double doors lead out to the terrace. Completing this floor is a utility room with outside access and freestanding fridge/freezer and a shower room.
Arranged over the first floor, the principal bedroom is of superb proportions, with a triple aspect and juliet balcony overlooking the gardens, a range of fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with separate shower. Four further bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room and a family bathroom complete this floor.
To the second floor there are two further bedrooms with juliet balconies, served by a well appointed bathroom.
Electric entrance gates lead to the private driveway, providing ample parking for several vehicles and which leads to the detached garaging. To one side there is an area of lawn and an ornamental pond with an attractive feature rockery. A low privet hedge partially conceals a terraced area ideal for al fresco entertaining. Established hedges and evergreen trees provide a high degree of privacy to the boundary. Gated access to the rear gardens.
The rear garden is a delightful feature, with a generous terrace, excellent for outside dining. Stone steps lead up to an expanse of level lawn. A path with arbour adorned with roses, leads to the summer house (power and light connected). There are two further terraces, one enjoying a fitted wooden gazebo.
