Situation - The Land concerned forms part of Ddolwernen which is situated within a half a mile or so of the hamlet of Pontfaen.

Pontfaen is a small hamlet which is situated in the picturesque Gwaun Valley some 5 ½ miles or so south east of the Market Town of Fishguard and some 3 ½ miles or so south west of the Coastal and Market Town of Newport. Pontfaen has the benefit of a Chapel, Public House, a Church and a Primary School.

Newport being within a short drive has a few Shops, a Primary School, Church, 2 Chapels, Public Houses, Restaurants, Hotels, Take-Away’s, a Post Office, Library, a Memorial/Community Hall, Dental Surgery and a Health Centre.

Fishguard being close by has the benefit of a good Shopping Centre together with a wide range of amenities and facilities which briefly include Secondary and Primary Schools, Churches, Chapels, a Building Society, Hotels, Restaurants, Public Houses, Cafés, Takeaways, Art Galleries, a Post Office, Library, Repair Garages, a Cinema/Theatre, Supermarkets and a Leisure Centre.

The County and Market Town of Haverfordwest is some 15 miles or so south and has the benefit of an excellent shopping centre together with an extensive range of amenities and facilities including The County Council Offices and The County Hospital at Withybush.

Directions - From Fishguard, take the B4313 Fishguard to Maenclochog Road for 2 ½ miles passing through the village of Llanychaer and continue on this road for a short distance and upon reaching what appears to be a crossroads, follow the road to the left towards Maenclochog. Continue on this road for a third of a mile or so and follow the road to the right (up the hill) and continue on this road for a mile and a half or so and take the turning on the left, signposted to Pontfaen. Proceed on this road for half a mile and upon reaching the "T" junction, bear left (straight on) and proceed down into The Gwaun Valley and proceed over the bridge and upon reaching the "T" junction, turn right. Proceed through the hamlet of Pontfaen for in excess of half a mile passing the School on your right and a half a mile or so further on, Ddolwernen is situated on the left hand side of the road. A "For Sale" Board is erected site.
