This excellent village home has been extended into the garage to offer extra living/office space and benefits from off-street parking and a good-sized rear garden. The property has further potential to extend to the rear (subject to planning).
An entrance porch leads into a large living room with feature fireplace which is open plan into a further dining/seating area, which overlooks the rear garden. A modern fitted kitchen sits just off and is fitted with a stylish range of units with built-in double oven and hob and space for appliances. The former garage has been converted into an additional room, which is currently used as a music room but would be ideal for home working as it has its own entrance but can be also be accessed from the main house.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the two larger bedrooms both have built-in storage. A modern family bathroom completes the accommodation.
Outside the front garden is mainly laid to lawn with a driveway to one side, providing off-street parking. The generous rear garden is fully fenced with large lawn and mature shrubs and trees (including an apple tree).
VENDORS COMMENT
"Our experience during the 8 years we've lived here:
Lovely neighbours up and down the street, including a young family like ours and others who've lived here happily for many years. A real community feel across all ages. One neighbour has allotments and sometimes leaves gifts of veg on doorsteps. Quiet road and feels safe as it's a cul de sac. Also feels more secure as the back garden is bounded on all sides by other gardens. Very easy walk to the shops, park and school and lovely countryside nearby (we're right on the edge of the Chilterns Area of natural beauty). We are moving to find the right education for our Deaf child and will be sad to leave this village that has worked very well for us."

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 30, 2024
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 30, 2024
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on March 16, 2017 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
