It is also famous for the Grand Union and Oxford Canals which run close to the village as well as the busy and highly regarded Braunston Marina and waterside areas. The village is well catered for with the village shop, post office, butcher, public houses and takeaways.
It is just a few minutes from the A45 and within easy reach of the M1 and M6. Its local towns are Daventry and Rugby which are just ten minutes away.
