The land at Silecroft is available to let on an annual grazing licence, with grazing of livestock permitted between September and March.
Stocking restrictions are in place, with numbers limited to the following:
• Maximum of 6 cows OR,
• Maximum of 20 sheep OR,
• Maximum of 4 horses/ ponies.
The land is designated under the CROW Act as Open Access Land; careful consideration should be made as to the stock that is grazed on the land to minimise risk to the general public.
Lake District National Park Rangers are responsible for ongoing maintenance of all field boundaries/ cattle grids etc.
Directions
Heading west out of Millom along the A5093, continue for approximately 2.8 miles. Turn left into Silecroft Village along Main Street. Continue for 1 mile, passing through the village past the caravan park. The land will be located on your left hand side and marked by the letting agent’s board.

The land is located to the southwest of Silecroft Village, adjacent to Silecroft Caravan Park.
Approximately 3 miles west of Millom and 2.5 miles northwest of Haverigg.
