Windrush is a pretty Cotswold village and derives its name from the river on which it stands. A small green, lined with trees leads to the church of St Peter and the majority of the houses in the village are built from local stone. On the outskirts of the village is the Cotswold Outpost, a lovely eatery, tearoom and farm shop all rolled into one. The village is about 4 miles west of Burford and half a mile from the A40 with Witney approximately 12 miles distant. There are no shops or pubs in the village but The Fox Inn at Barringtons Bridge lies about ¾ miles east.

DIRECTIONS
From the A40 roundabout at Burford proceed towards Cheltenham for approx. 4 miles, until Windrush is signposted on your right hand side. Proceed into the village and turn left onto Church lane at the bottom of the hill. The property is marked with a Penny & Sinclair To Let Board.
