Sellers Insight:

“It’s a very large, spacious, comfortable and flexible family home, built in 1999. The house is situated in a quiet location down a private lane with just two other houses. So, you’ve got a lot of privacy. The house has got everything you could possibly need. We’ve invested in high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. We’ve absolutely loved living in this house for the past 25 years.”

“The living spaces are very flexible. There is a large kitchen/diner, the conservatory extending from the kitchen and the office/bedroom above the garage – with its nearby loo. You could potentially convert that wing into a separate annex.”

“The garden and grounds cover a huge area of around 2 acres. We’ve designed the garden from scratch, arranging the main areas into ‘garden rooms’. You have the main patio and stepped lawn area outside the house with the hot tub. Further down the garden, you have what we call the ‘secret garden,’ which has another seating area, then the orchard, and, finally, the large paddock.

“We’re fortunate that we have plentiful fruit growing in the garden, such as apples, pears, plums, greengages, quince, sloes and blackberries. One of our apple trees produces the most delicious apples we’ve ever tasted. We also see lots of wildlife in the paddock, including deers, geese and ducks.”

“The garden is so peaceful, and you’re not overlooked. It’s a place where you can get away from it all – whiling away time reading, chatting with friends and family or just enjoying nature and the beautiful scenery.”

“The village has a traditional pub, the Robin Hood and Little John, which serves great food, and also a beautiful church. But you’ve also got some small shops and a Post Office in nearby villages. Just a few miles down the road, you have the lovely market town of Bourne – which has a wider range of shops, a couple of doctors’ surgeries and leisure amenities, such as a playing field, outdoor swimming pool and sports clubs.”

“You get the best of both worlds here in Aslackby – with a peaceful rural location and good road and rail links across the region and wider country. You can catch fast trains to London from either Grantham or Peterborough. You’re also close to the A15, A1 and other major routes north and south.”
