The small village of Wonston is close to Sutton Scotney and is situated in the Dever Valley, north of the cathedral city of Winchester, close to the pretty villages of Norton, Hunton and Wonston. Sutton Scotney has a post office/general store, Texaco garage/shop, farm shop, Calcutts (Equestrian and Country Outfitters), public house, doctors’ surgery/pharmacy, active village hall, Gratton playing fields with public tennis court, cricket and tennis clubs and shooting and fishing clubs. Also nearby is Norton Manor with private members’ facilities including health club and swimming pool.
