A five-minute walk to The Bird in Hand when I’m not up to cooking comes in very useful! Famous for their fabulous menu and cosy ambience. Meadow Lea farm shop, a short distance away is not to be missed for a lunchtime sandwich. 'Niche' hairdressing salon is by the post office, while just next door is the Village Hall where we enjoy the annual Christmas lights switch on, a truly warming, intimate and festive experience for all the locals.
