Description - An impressive country residence with great character and charm situated within a highly sought after rural setting of Corley. The home spans over 3000 sq ft and has been tastefully decorated throughout.

Upon entering the home you are greeted by a charming dining room which features exposed beams and provides access to the lounge and kitchen diner. Through the dining room you have a fantastic lounge with front aspect views and a focal fireplace. The kitchen comprises of contemporary shaker style cabinets and a separate dining area ideal for causal dining. There is a utility room position off the kitchen and french doors leading to the enclosed rear garden.

The ground floor also comprises of a further playroom/ office, a shower room, a cloakroom and access to the cellar.

To the first floor there are three well proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom. the principal bedroom oozes plenty of character , dual aspect views and a newly fitted en suite featuring a double vanity unit, shower cubicle and freestanding bath. There are a further three bedrooms to the second floor and two bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom has been beautifully designed encompassing a separate shower cubicle and freestanding bath.

Externally the home has enclosed gardens offering vehicular access via two entrances including a gated entry with direct access to the garage. The rear garden has a patio area ideal for entertaining and is mostly laid to lawn with tree lined borders. There is a further outbuilding in the rear garden which offers multi functional use as a home office or a potential annexe.

Location - Situated on the edge of Coventry nestled within the countryside yet providing easy access to the City. The villages of Fillongley and Meriden are also located nearby.

The location provides excellent access to the M6 which in turn connects to the M42 and the A45 which is convenient for Birmingham City Centre and Birmingham International Airport.

The local schools include Coundon Court, Bablake School and Henry VIII are situated within Coventry.

Sellers Story - The character and space were the main reasons why we bought this house. The spacious garden and the added value of having the annexe were a great asset for the summer months with having the children!

We had difficulty in finding a house that offers such large bedrooms throughout, another reason why we bought this house. The cellar was also attractive although we never get around to converting it.

We love the living room in the winter, it provides a very cosy warm feel, offering a beautiful space and fire. In the summer we love the kitchen, opening up the double doors to the large garden, which gave us a great space to use with the children.

Every year the Christmas light tractor run goes past the house which is special. We also hold a lot of families children’s parties at the house with us having a lot of space in the garden, to fit multiple inflatables

We have thoroughly enjoyed living here. This was our first family home and definitely one we have loved, and a shame to sell. We enjoyed making this house our home. The kids have plenty of places to play (and hide) so they never get bored.

We will miss the space, coziness, character and it feeling like ‘home’, but right now for us we need to be closer to our family.

Detail;

A fireplace in the master bedroom with a beautiful new en-suite.
We have converted one of the bedrooms to a walk in wardrobe, as that’s what worked best for us with the space.
The annexe is completed with its own bedroom, living area, kitchen and shower room.
The kitchen has underfloor heating and built in speakers (great for events).
The house has been modernised and freshened up since we moved in, with new carpets/flooring throughout.
It will make a beautiful family home.
