Halnaker, a rural hamlet, is approximately 4 miles north east of the popular and historic city of Chichester, home to the magnificent 12th century Chichester Cathedral. The city centre provides access to most of the well known high street shops and numerous highly regarded restaurants, cafes and bars. Around the edge of the centre are the larger superstores, including Waitrose, Tescos, Sainsburys and Lidl. Chichester is also home to the well renowned Festival Theatre, and the fascinating Fishbourne Roman Palace.

There are an excellent choice of both state and independent schools locally., plus some excellent walking opportunities. Goodwood, with its famous Revival and Festival of Speed meetings for the motor enthusiasts is less than 10 minutes away, and Goodwood Racecourse a short distance further.
