We are advertising this property on behalf of Haulfryn, Devon Hills Holiday Park and if you enquire, your details will be passed to them to contact you. We have not independently varied the information they have provided.
Location
We are based in Paignton within a countryside setting with views of the rolling Devon Hills and our focus is very much on rest and relaxation. We are a couple of miles from the nearest beaches and are spoilt for choice with Paignton, Goodrington and Broadsands Beaches to name but a few. The beaches also link together via the south Devon Coastal Path which offers stunning views of both land and sea. However, both Torquay & Paignton offer more touristy activities and then there are the surrounding towns of Brixham, Totnes and Newton Abbot to explore locally with other tourist hotspots being slightly further afield but within an approximate half hour drive such as Dartmouth. We are therefore, ideally positioned for exploring what Devon has to offer.
Facilities
On the Park, our new leisure facilities have opened which include an indoor heated 18m swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym. The Hive, our new licensed cafe/restaurant, is also open, and serves a range of food and drink including both soft and alcoholic beverages and it is already a 'hive' of activity where holiday homeowners, staff and holidaymakers go to socialise.
Devon Hills is open for 12-months of the year and as we do not close for winter, we do not charge winter storage costs unlike other sites. This means you can enjoy the park and its facilities all year round.
Site Fees/Running Costs
Our site fees range from £4,900 to £7,200 per year depending on the unit and location within the Park. Site fees cover the cost of the upkeep and maintenance of the park, ensuring it is a safe and secure environment, the maintenance of our new leisure facilities and Park wide WiFi, as well as covering the cost of the huge team from maintenance, to housekeepers to lifeguards and all of the other staff involved in ensuring the smooth running of the park. Site fees are however included with the purchase of any holiday home until March 2025, so you would not have to pay any site fees until next year.
In addition to the site fees are running costs for gas, electricity, water and local authority rates. All in all, these would equate to between £1500 to £2000 for the year and are dependant on your usage of the lodge. Gas and electricity are metered so you only pay for what you use.
Finally, you would need holiday home insurance which is between £250 and £500 but I would recommend shopping around to find the best deal for you.
In total, you would be looking at all in costs of somewhere between £7,000 to £9,500 each year.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on May 25, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
