This property was carefully renovated by a previous owner, who retained the character and charm of the cottage. There are many original features, including an inglenook fireplace with bread ovens and log burner, exposed brick and stone walls and wooden beams. The downstairs accommodation briefly comprises an open plan kitchen, living and dining room. A door from the kitchen opens into the utility room, which includes a butlers’ sink and door to the rear garden and patio. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms featuring cast-iron radiators and exposed stone walls, and a bathroom with wash basin, WC slipper bath with shower attachment.
Externally, to the front of the cottage there is a low roped wall with slate-topped pillars and a wooden gate with magnetic latch. A pebbled front garden features lavender beds and wooden sleepers leading up to the front door. To the side of the property a small gate leads to the rear garden, which is screened by a further garden gate. The rear garden area features a quarry-tiled patio from here steps lead up to a further garden with a shrub border, and the summer house. This has an electricity supply so is ideal for working from home or just relaxing.
In view of its lack of chain and special charm, early viewing is strongly recommended.
The medieval town of Newport is known as 'the jewel in the crown' of North Pembrokeshire. The two largest beaches are Traeth Mawr (Big Beach, or Newport Sands) on the northern side of the Nevern Estuary, and The Parrog, ever popular with boat enthusiasts, on the south side. The Nevern Estuary is teeming with wildlife and birds. Carningli Mountain rises to the south of Newport, with standing stones, ancient forts and hut circles. The town also boasts a wide range of shops to cater for every need. There are also fine restaurants, street cafes and several pubs, as well as a tourist information centre.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on April 20, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
