44 Warwick Road
London N11
Dear Robert &Julia
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns and disagreement regarding the proposed loft conversion project at 44 Warwick Road under the Party Wall Act.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize that I value our neighborly relationship and understand the importance of homeowners making improvements to their properties. However, after carefully reviewing the plans for your loft conversion project, I believe it is necessary to voice my concerns about the potential impact on my property and well-being.
My primary concerns are as follows:
Structural Integrity: The Party Wall Act is in place to protect the structural integrity of adjoining properties. Given the proximity of our homes, I am concerned that the proposed construction may pose risks to the stability of our shared wall and, by extension, my property.
Noise and Disruption: Loft conversions often involve significant construction work, which can lead to excessive noise and disruption. As someone who works from home and values a peaceful environment, I worry that the construction activities could adversely affect my ability to concentrate and work effectively.
Privacy: Loft conversions may also impact the privacy of adjoining properties. With the potential for increased windows and the alteration of existing structures, I am concerned about the intrusion of privacy into my home.
Property Value: Any structural changes and potential issues arising from the construction could affect the market value of both our properties. It is crucial that we address these concerns to protect our long-term investments.
I would like to propose that we engage in open and transparent communication regarding your loft conversion project. This will allow us to discuss in detail how these concerns can be mitigated to ensure that the project proceeds smoothly and without adverse effects on my property and quality of life. I believe that a cooperative and collaborative approach can lead to a mutually agreeable resolution.
To this end, I kindly request that we consider appointing a Party Wall Surveyor to facilitate the process and ensure that our respective interests are adequately protected under the Party Wall Act. This independent third party can help mediate any disputes and provide professional guidance to ensure the project's compliance with the law.
I look forward to discussing this matter with you in more detail and working together to find solutions that are fair and respectful of both our interests. Please let me know your thoughts and availability to meet and discuss the proposed loft conversion project further.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope we can find a resolution that benefits both parties and preserves our positive neighborly relationship.
Sincerely,
Gabriele D'alessioo

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on June 15, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on June 15, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on September 16, 2021 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
