Seller’s Insight
“This has been a wonderful family home for us for over 30 years. The location is superb, we have everything the village provides on our doorstep, the convenience of the city of Lincoln being just four miles away and yet Cornerstone has always been a peaceful haven both inside and out.”
“We have enjoyed remodelling the house over the years, the kitchen is truly the heart of the home and we feel the bespoke Murdoch and Troon of Louth kitchen reflects the cosy, cottage style warmth of our home well. By extending at the rear of the house, we were able to create a spacious guest bedroom with en-suite, a separate utility room and WC. This has given us a wonderful guest suite but could easily be re-configured to be a self-contained annex with a separate entrance for a relative or guest.”
“The house and garden has brought us a huge amount of pleasure and we have enjoyed having plenty of room for friends and family to come and stay over the years. We have hosted parties for over 50 guests in the orchard. Overlooked only by the church, the orchard is a lovely, quiet place in which to relax.”
“We are keen gardeners and the garden brings year round delight. The orchard is well stocked and abundant with produce, we have a host of fruit trees such as apple, pear, plum and damson trees as well as vegetable gardens and soft fruit cages, so we have really enjoyed the good life here at Cornerstone.”
“The setting is very special, a quintessentially English village with the Church as a back drop and the historic village cross and green sheltered by the large copper beech tree, just a stone’s throw from the house. Washingborough is an exceptionally friendly village and we have wonderful neighbours who we will miss as much as the house itself. Everything is within walking distance – a Coop supermarket, the choice of two pubs, doctors surgery, vets, nearby schooling and excellent bus routes can take you quickly into Lincoln or further afield if needed.”

Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
