A GREAT 4 BEDROOM DETACHED FAMILY HOME IN A EXCELLENT AREA CLOSE TO COUNTRYSIDE, ROAD LINKS AND AMENITIES. WITH ITS DRIVEWAY PARKING, GENEROUS LIVING SPACE, SPACIOUS BEDROOMS AND BEAUTIFUL MATURE GARDEN AND MODERN TOUCHES, THIS HOME WOULD MAKE A GREAT CHOICE FOR A FAMILY.

Our Agent Mikaela Says:

“This is just the ideal 4 bedroom family home, there’s so much living space for the family and it’s in a really great location with lots of kerb appeal, plus a double driveway! The living room is a bright and welcoming space with a large bay window letting in lots of natural light. This room then leads into a lovely spacious dining area where there are sliding patio doors out onto the beautiful garden and further access into the kitchen. The kitchen is to the back of the property and has been modernised with wooden worktops, glossy grey cupboards, integrated appliances and even a double oven. You can access the handy utility room and guest WC from the kitchen too. The garage has been part converted and I think It’s such a great space. The front is still garage storage, but the back, which can be accessed from the house, has its own window and is now a really versatile space! It could be a home office, playroom, boot room, anything you really needed it to be. Upstairs there’s a spacious gallery landing leading to 3 generously sized double bedrooms, a single room and the family bathroom. All the rooms have fitted wardrobe space which is a great bonus. The en-suite to the master has been updated with glossy white storage under a square sink and black details such as the tap and radiator to compliment modern blue tiling in the double shower. This room is bigger than it was originally, as the current owners have used what was the old airing cupboard to create a more spacious en-suite. Outside in the garden there are two seperate seating areas which make the most of the morning and evening sun with some beautiful mature bushes and shrubs, including some gorgeous wisteria which is always popular! The current owners have sectioned an area of the garden off with slabs and fencing for their dogs which could be very handy for the next owner, but equally could be easily removed if not needed. I imagine this home would tick lots of boxes for families looking for a 4 bedroom detached in a great area!”

Our Sellers Thoughts:

“Welcome to our home! This has been a happy home for 24 years, its where we’ve raised our four children and built a lifetime of memories. It’s the perfect family home—safe, welcoming, and full of space to grow. Our kids spent endless hours playing on the green or going off to Elvaston Castle on their bikes, the boys joined the local cricket and football teams, whilst our daughter followed her passion for horses. It’s been wonderful seeing new families move in and the cycle of family life continuing. There’s a real sense of connection here, with lovely neighbours and a strong community spirit, there’s even a Facebook group for residents. We’ve loved how easy it is to get into Derby and beyond, whether for work, school, or a quick trip away from East Midlands Airport. After years of commuting to Grantham, we’ve decided it’s time to move closer, but we’ll truly miss this wonderful home and community. We hope the next family loves it here as much as we have—it’s been a fantastic place to raise our family.”

The Area:

Thulston is a beautiful hamlet of Elvaston, Derbyshire alongside Ambaston and Boulton Moor. This home in particular, on Elvaston Meadows sits south east of Derby. Nearby Elvaston is known for its stunning Elvaston Castle Country Park where you could spend time walking amongst the gorgeous countryside and often holds small fetes and events. This area is also known for its great road links. Just very short distance away from here is the A50, giving easy access to the M1 and A38.
