Substantially built in 1907 of natural stone under a slate roof, the Church has until recently been used as a place of worship and meeting room and now presents an exciting opportunity to convert the building to residential or commercial use subject to planning permission.

The building retains many of the typical architectural features of the period and in brief comprises; Stone entrance porch with double doors to a hall off which is a kitchen, separate W.C and storeroom. Double doors from the hall give access into main Church room with its 22'9" high vaulted ceiling with a number a stained glass and leaded tall arched windows, the room has timber panelled walls to dado height with exposed stone above and a raised floor at one end with deep recess housing a church organ. There is a door leading to an enclosed side entrance lobby with door to outside where there is access to a basement and crawl space under the building.

The building is approached through a stone pillared entrance with wrought iron gate and a wide path leading to the main entrance.

AGENTS NOTE
A pre planning application for proposed change of use to either residential/studio/workshop was submitted to The Exmoor National Park in August 2024 and a copy of the report is available in the online auction pack.
