The Site can be accessed directly from Bighton Hill from the A31 running west to Winchester and north east to Alton.
The site borders the train station for the Watercress line which runs between Alresford and Alton.

Alton main line railway train station is within 15 miles of the site with frequent trains to London Waterloo, Southampton and Exeter. The Cathedral City of Winchester is 15 minutes to the west and Southampton airport is found within 20 miles to the south down the M3. Heathrow is located within 46 miles giving access to both international and domestic travel.

Planning - The site benefits from outline planning permission for the following, under Planning Ref. 60189 East Hampshire District Council

‘Outline application with all matters reserved except for access; for up to 18 dwellings with associated parking, public open space, drainage, alterations to access off Bighton Hill’

There is a proposed 40% affordable housing element on the site, 7 units in total and 18 further dwellings. On the north side of the site there is a proposed public open parkland and play areas.
