Built in 1850 by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin 1812-1852. Pugin also designed St Barnabas Cathedral, Nottingham. He played a pivotal role in the refurbishment of the Houses of Parliament in the nineteenth century. The building is Grade II listed. So the windows in the apartment are originals and there are other original features in the apartment too!
