This château is located in Southern France, in a peaceful, remote location set amidst the wild and breathtaking nature, neighbouring the national reserve of the Mont Sainte Victoire with no civilisation in sight. The estate has a unique atmosphere, balancing exclusive grandeur and casual intimacy.

The château is surrounded by 276 hectares of authentic nature, with the château itself located in the middle of this rare, unspoiled Provençal countryside. It overlooks a vast baroque-inspired garden and a sculpture park showcasing impressive monumental outdoor artworks. The park also has several terraces, a tennis court and a boule pitch.

The authentic expression of the main house has been kept intact, with the most ancient part dating back to 1789. Over the following years, the building has been extended and renovated. The same goes for the 4 charming, independent guest houses.

The approx. 1.000 m2 of living areas are beautifully decorated with curated art and design reflecting an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique collectibles. This charismatic style is accomplished in the splendid historical reception room, used for customer events, and in the wine shop at the estate. The historical underground gallery underlines the artistic heritage of the property.

The estate covers 276 hectares of which 55 are planted with vines (with potential to increase to double). The altitude ranges from 350 to 500 meters above sea level. The soil is dominated by the characteristic limestone clay.

The climate is characterised by important temperature fluctuations, with a difference of more than 20 degrees between day and night during the maturation period of the grapes. These particular microclimatic conditions allow a gentle and slow ripening of the grapes, adding an excellent balance and remarkable freshness for this part of France. The vineyard benefits from access to the Canale de Provence with its own watering system.

This all together unique terroir contributes to the exceptional ageing potential of the wines. The surrounding vast forests hold old oaks trees, incl. oak truffle trees, and pines. In order to fully respect the soil and the terroir, the property has re-converted to the original organic philosophy and production, incl. hand-crafted and hand-picked grapes.

This property is well-known for its spectacular wine cellars. The spacious cellars beautifully merge together a historical, classical wine cellar environment with a contemporary, technical wine production. The historical part of the cellars was established in the 19th century whereas the modern facilities were created in 1972, through a visionary construction with several underground levels curved out and dug into the local limestone mountain.

The site is equipped with over 50 modern stain-less steel tanks while the extraordinary underground cellars hold 350 wooden barrels. An astonishing separate cave contains 150.000 bottles (commercial stock), while a historical reserve holds vintages back in time. Finally, the cellars also present a beautiful chamber presenting the historical mega wooden barrels.

The estate produces gastronomic red, white and rosé wines that are praised by global opinion makers within the wine world and have been awarded with numerous international scores/medals. The wines are sold in France and successfully exported. Customers are mainly leading wine shops and restaurants, incl. many Michelin-starred restaurants. A portion of the wine produced is sold to private consumers in the wine shop at the estate.   

The wine production is run by a highly qualified organization of skilled employees, headed by the general manager for many years who is an educated agronomist and oenologist as well as an excellent, well-respected winemaker.
