Ellerdine is situated just 6 miles north of the market town of Wellington. There is a train station here with links to the north and south. Taking approximately 2 hours 22 minutes to London Euston, 48 minutes to Birmingham New Street, 1 hour 8 minutes to Birmingham International (airport), and 1 hour 16 minutes to Chester.

Ellerdine is also well placed for commuting to Manchester and Chester via the A41 and M6.
