A comment from the owner
‘I have loved every moment of living here for the past 4 years. It was a house that needed updating and thoroughly enjoyed the project of turning a house into what was to be my forever home. However, the most wonderful opportunity and turning point in my life is moving me away from here. Sitting in the garden you forget the road that runs beside the side of the house as the soaring and calling of the red kites draw you into their magic. Muntjacs occasionally come into the garden and sometimes stay for a few days at a time, charming us with their shy but on occasion daring venture towards the house.
The woodlands opposite the house give the best feeling as there are numerous walking paths all offering a different mood. Walking from home across the road without the worry of driving and parking, straight into woodland is just a beautiful feeling. When my nieces and nephews visit, they take their bikes on the many paths, so convenient and fun as well as safe. Both woods are just beautiful, during the seasons, especially late spring with large swathes of bluebells, just awesome, mesmerisingly breathtaking. Autumn brings its own charm of beautiful colours on the trees and leaves to kick around as you walk through, relaxing and beautiful. All this on the doorstep and still close to all the amenities of town, the best of both worlds. Wishing the best of all this to you whilst I move away to new adventures.’
