We’ve thoroughly enjoyed living at Rose Villa - it’s been the perfect home for our multi-generational family. There’s so much light and space, with plenty of rooms for our different interests - archiving, writing, sewing, cooking - all with room to come together or enjoy some peace and quiet. In the winter, the log burners make the front rooms incredibly cosy and the kitchen really comes to life with the warmth of the Rayburn and everyone pitching in to cook with ingredients from the garden.

The garden has been a real joy in every season. There are different areas to relax, entertain or just take in the changing colours - from the gravel garden where we enjoy BBQs, to the lawn where we have tea, lunch, or evening ‘sundowners’. We grow our own fruit and veg and the pond is always busy with birds, frogs and even the odd newt - it's like having our own little nature reserve.

It’s been a much-loved home for all ages, filled with character, calm, and creativity - a really special place that we’ll miss, but we’re excited for someone new to enjoy it just as much as we have.
