Many notable people have lived or stayed at the Royal Crescent, including Sir Isaac Pitman himself. Visitors will still see the controversial yellow door and shutters at No. 22, retained after a hard-fought battle by resident Miss Amabel Wellesley-Colley in 1972.

Pulteney Bridge - The 18th century, Grade I Listed Pulteney Bridge is arguably the most iconic and romantic of Bath’s many landmarks. An elaborate Palladian style structure inspired by the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, it is one of just four bridges in the world lined with shops on both sides. Even locals can’t fail to be drawn by its stunning architecture and bustling atmosphere.
