The property has been lovingly looked after and maintained by the long time owners to create the fabulous exterior and interior it now boasts, it has potential for a larger eat-in kitchen subject to planning. The downstairs boasts plenty of original features, notably the original wooden floors which have been painstakingly maintained, alongside a open working fireplace in the lounge, fireplaces in two bedrooms and tall ceilings throughout.
The double reception benefits from grand high ceilings, and a sizeable double-glazed sash bay window. Authentic double-glazed uPVC sash style windows are fitted throughout. The property further benefits from a large cellar. In the rear reception, a hall way leads you straight into the large and modern kitchen-diner which has ample light from the large bi-fold doors at the rear, modern appliances and a large L shape island for integrated storage. The garden is low maintenance and is 38 foot long, offering more than enough space for entertaining and for children to play.
Upstairs the property has five double bedrooms, which is a true rarity, on the first floor you have a large bedroom to the rear which is next to the modern family bathroom, split level stairs allow the property to feel spacious and at the front you have a further two bedrooms both with original fireplaces sandwiched between built in storage cupboards, the main bedroom is tastefully designed and is a staggering 200 square foot in size. The extension to the property takes you up to a further two bedrooms and another tiled family bathroom with skylight, one of the bedrooms sits again at the rear and benefits from more built in storage in the eaves. The second top floor bedroom is another huge room with skylight and wall to wall built in wardrobes, even the hall has a skylight which can be opened in the summer which makes the property cool and bright.
This truly is a stunning home that offers a considerable amount of space for any family.
What the owner says...
We moved into this house when our children were very small and have absolutely loved living in such an amazing downtown location, extremely close to schools, several train stations, the shops, the incredible restaurants of Lordship Lane and Peckham and the beautiful parks (Peckham Rye, Dulwich Park, Brockwell Park).
The street is extremely friendly, we can always get a parking space outside (now that there is paid parking) and we have spent so many hours in the beautifully sunny garden relaxing or BBQ-ing. It is rare you get a house in East Dulwich that is not overlooked at the back and our cats have loved access to marsden wildlife centre beyond the garden. This location guarantees you access to your choice of 3 excellent primary schools and the extremely sought after secondary school, Charter East Dulwich. Inside this house is unusually large for an East Dulwich terrace, 5 true double bedrooms plus ample storage and a cellar we have made very good use of! Prior to us was a family who lived here for 50 years so we restored all the original features when we did the house up 8 years ago.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
