The city of Brighton and Hove lies approximately 18 miles to the west, whilst the historic county town of Lewes is some 16 miles distant, with
its individual shops, restaurants and antique markets. There is a mainline station at Polegate, approximately 5 miles distant, which also provides
a regular train service to London (London Victoria/London Bridge in about 1 hour 20 minutes). Gatwick airport lies some 48 miles to the north.

To both the front and rear of the cottage there is a good sized lawned garden and from the far end of the rear garden there are some lovely views over the rooftops towards the South Downs.
