For keeping fit, the fantastic Hereford Leisure Centre (just a few minutes from Hereford Point) and Hereford Pool offer state-of-the-art gym, exercise, sports and swimming. Out of doors, walks by the banks of the river Wye and cycling in the gorgeous hills and countryside around Hereford Point will give everyone that 'feel good' feeling.
Transport
At Hereford Point, you are situated alongside the A4103 Roman Road, which connects via other main roads to Ross-on-Wye (19 miles), Worcester (26 miles) and Gloucester (31 miles). Twenty miles away is the M50 Motorway, which connects to the M5 (Junction 8, 33 miles). Further afield, Birmingham and Cardiff are both an hour and a half's drive respectively, and London 3 hours.
For rail services, Hereford Train Station is 2.3 miles away, offering regular local trains and services to Birmingham (New Street, 1hr 30mins), Manchester (Piccadilly 2hrs 7mins), or London (Paddington 2hrs 56mins). The nearest international airport is Birmingham, 65 miles.

Within 2 miles of Hereford Point, you'll find Happy Hands pre-school and Trinity Primary School, and for older children, Whitecross High School. All three are ranked 'Good' by Ofsted.
For older children, the choice around Hereford is huge. Hereford Cathedral School is located in one of the finest settings you could hope for, adjacent to the beautiful Cathedral and close to the city centre. The school has a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for a well-rounded education for children aged 3 to 18 years.

As a busy regional centre, Hereford has all the amenities, shops, schools and leisure facilities you need for today's busy modern lifestyles. There is a Co-Op Food supermarket and a local newsagents just ten minutes' walk (0.5 miles) from Hereford Point and four larger supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Aldi) all less then 3 miles from home.
Around 3 miles away in the city centre, Hereford has an excellent range of big-name shops and stores in its pedestrianised streets and two large, modern shopping centres. The Old Market on Newmarket Street has Debenhams, Next and Outfit, a host of independent boutiques and quirky shops, and a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and bars as well as a Waitrose store to refresh the hungry or thirsty shopper.
The Maylord shopping centre has a further choice of stores and shops, all undercover to dispel the temperamental British weather.
