If you want to get out into nature, Rendlesham Forest is a great place for leisurely walks, as is the fascinating historical site of Sutton Hoo. You can stay active at Deben Water Sports Centre and Alton Water Sports Centre, and there are charming coastal villages to visit such as Orford, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness.
