This payment is offset against the amount owing on the Security Deposit or first rental payment. Security Deposit: Usually one month&#39;s rent. This must be paid within 15 days of the date of the Holding Deposit Payment.Rent, charged per calendar month. If you move in mid month the first payment is calculated using the daily rate plus the next full calendar month&#39;s rent.During the Contract: In addition to paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following payments: Utilities: gas, water and electricity. Communications: telephone and broadband. Subscription to cable/ satellite supplier (including installation). Television licence. Total payment due will be the actual cost of invoice.(e) Interest on late payment- If the contract holder(s) fails to pay, within 7 days of the due date, any amount of Rent or other sum payable to the Landlord under this occupation contract, the contract holder(s) will, on demand, pay to the Landlord interest on that amount at the rate of three per cent per year above the Bank of England base rate, calculated from the due date until actual payment.

No Fees Since 2006. Cardiff Student Letting is owned and run by Cardiff University Students Union. A brand new one double bedroom ground floor flat in a great location just off Cathays Terrace. The property is ideal for students attending Cathays Park campus as well as medics. There is a newly fitted modern kitchen, a sitting/ dining room, a double bedroom and a shower room. A holding deposit of one weeks rent per person will be payable to secure the property. This will be deducted from the final balance payable upon contract signing, subject to a successful application.
